How do I pick up my race materials?

Race bibs, timing chips, and t-shirts will be handed out when you check in at the registration booths on race day.

You can elect for your bib and timing chip to be mailed to you when you register online for a $5 fee. T-shirts cannot be picked up in advance.

Will I get an event shirt?

Everyone who pre-registers by August 1 is guaranteed an event t-shirt. Shirts will be held in your name until 9:30am.

People who register the morning of the race will receive shirts first-come, first-served until they run out. Unclaimed shirts will begin to be handed out at 9:30am.

Where do I park my car?

The Interpretive Center does not have a parking lot, but parking is available at the business park half a mile down Breakwater Avenue. Staff will guide you to the parking lot between 7:30am and 8:40am and shuttle vans will carry you to the center.

Will there be refreshments?

Yes. There will be water to drink and a food table with fruit and assorted snacks.

Is the race course certified?

Yes. Both the 5K and 10K courses are certified by U.S. Track and Field. The courses are measured by the shortest possible distance which may cause a discrepancy if you measure your own distance with GPS.

For more information, look at http://www.usatf.org/events/courses/certification/manual/

Can I listen to music while I run?

Yes. You can listen to music, but please note that bicyclists, hikers, and emergency vehicles may be sharing the trail so be aware of your surroundings.

Can I bring my dog?

Dogs are not allowed on the trail or at the center. This is a park rule set for the protection of the many wild animals that live here.

Can I run with a stroller?

Yes, you can run with a stroller. The trail is gravel and packed dirt, so make sure the wheels on the stroller can run over it smoothly. Do not give children inside a stroller a race bib because the timing chip would track their finish time.

Can I check my bag or event shirt?

We recommend that all valuables be left at home and that you only bring necessary items with you. If you are holding items that cannot be carried during the race, there will be a small bag-check area outside. However, the safety of your items cannot be completely guaranteed.

How do I view the race results?

You can choose to receive your results via text or email as you cross the finish line. They will also be posted at the awards ceremony and available online the next day at  www.runsignup.com.
